Los Angeles Report

I realize I have been back home from Los Angeles for over a week, but I needed time to digest my trip, and more importantly- I’m lazy.  I always enjoy being back in L.A: eating at all my favorite spots, seeing all my friends, and getting sunburned.

I did T.J. Miller and Eli Olsberg’s fun new show ‘Performance Anxiety’, which is held at the Pleasure Chest adult toy store in Hollywood.  I’ve done shows in all sorts of odd venues, but this might be up at the top.  Despite the setting, the show was pretty normal (other than the incredible line-up of Morgan Murphy, Pete Holmes, Rory Scovel, Ryan Stout, and more).

If you live in L.A. I recommend the show, it’s a lot of fun and for $7 you also get free parking in their lot and free beer.  I drank so much free beer I finally got up the confidence to talk to a sexy lady I didn’t know!

She was hilarious

I also did  the Josh & Josh show at Bar Lubitsch, which is one of my favorites, and a show at the Hollywood Improv, which I suppose I considered my ‘home club’ when I lived in L.A.  That show was for about 9 people and was the low point of the trip.  Although I did see this great street art while walking by:

I wish this was a t-shirt

It looked much cooler up close

I’m already looking forward to my next trip back…

In general, I am a skeptic but I think that in this case, I may have stumbled onto something. Every once in awhile you do find something valuable online.
